It gave me the choice of Walrus or Elephant. I found similarities in both.

Thankfully I am not a naturally hairy man. Any hair that is not on my head goes down the shower drain. Hairy women are entirely unappealing to me. Not a big fan of pubes either.

Not too long ago, I took a folding table and chair set, some nice linens, a couple of bottles of nice wine, and a completely handmade 7 course meal by yours truly, some candles, and my girlfriend and set it all up at the edge of the surf in Cannon Beach, Oregon during sunset. I played a little guitar for her after dinner too. I know it sounds sappy but we had a really good time. A nice meal in beautiful surroundings can be good for guys and gals.
My girlfriend was EXTREMELY appreciative, by the way.

My Sister.
by Low-Key Lysmith inmy younger sister is coming out for a visit tomorrow.
we keep it a secret from the rest of the family because i am disfellowshipped and she's not supposed to be hanging with me.
we are just recently becoming closer as she is beginning to have her doubts about the borg, and is currently on "public reproof" status.

Thanks for all the good advice everyone.I really want to introduce her to this board but I don't know if she's ready yet. I'm sure she will come around. She is very independent and wicked smart.

They are required to dress conservatively. Dress code for meetings and other official JW gatherings is business attire pretty much for both sexes. Suit and tie for the fellas, no trousers for the ladies, they have to wear a skirt with a sensible top or a dress. No beards for the men. No beards for the ladies. There is no hairstyle rule for the women really except that it not be fashionably outlandish. No mohawks or dreds for these folks. Guys are supposed to keep their hair above their collar and be neatly groomed. No tattoos. No peircings with the exception of womens' ears. Basically they are just supposed to look ordinary in every way.
As for the way they act,.........you probably don't want to get me started.

Rediculous. When I was a teenager, I wasn't allowed to "peg" my pantlegs. Anybody remember pegged pants?

I LOST IT ... my JW rant today
by talesin inwell, i just couldn't hold it in anymore.. today, i exploded, talking to my mother about the family inheritance and how i am being screwed.. i told her i had been so angry lately, and just had to tell her what i was thinking, because the anger was slipping out at times, and i was making snide anti-jw comments .... which is not my way.
i'm usually quite direct.. i told her that i couldn't take being treated like a piece of dog you-know-what on the bottom of someone's shoe any longer.. that in the past couple of years, i had learned so much filth about the jws that i was getting more and more disgusted day by day.. i started shouting ... there is nothing wrong with me!!!
why do i have to be shunned when they hide child molesters???.

Morgan Llewellyn has a lot of books. Some of the best in my opinion are: "Druid", "Finn MacCool", "Red Branch", and "Lion of Ireland". Check 'em out.
